Who I am at Work
Following my graduation from St. Louis University, I embarked on a year of service with AmeriCorps, during which I ventured into website development for the very first time. Back then, I was far from an expert, but I had a passion for building and a genuine desire to craft something that could benefit the community by fostering connectivity.
Subsequently, I remained entrenched in the medical field throughout the challenges posed by COVID. But did take this opportunity to exercise my creativity with building out a van conversion! Yet, as time passed, I began to recognize my dissatisfaction and burnout with the medical profession. I longed to have more flexibility and creative expression and started the pursuit of graphic design.
This realization prompted a significant career pivot as I set out to build my expertise in graphic design. Importantly, I retained valuable skills in empathy and efficient problem-solving and communication that I had cultivated during my previous experiences.
When I am not working
You’ll usually find me outside, soaking up the sun and diving headfirst into my next adventure. I’m a always checking out new places and enjoying life’s adventures. From conquering rock walls to exploring trails with my rescue dog Alfie, I am passionate about the outdoors. I find so much inspiration from being in nature and love using it in my work. I am working toward building a life that will balance my artistic side with my passion for the outdoors!
